Funny thing happened last night. I was half listening to a podcast from Dan Carlin called ‘The American Peril’ (it’s brilliant and 4 hours long, download it) in which he spoke about Roosevelt saying that when he grew up he hoped he could fight and kill some men, just to see what it’d feel like.
Carlin was arguing that a boy who thought that way now would be sent to a psychiatrist. That boys these days grew out of all that. That didn’t quite ring pure to me. I couldn’t pinpoint why though because I kept losing focus. I was simultaneously perfecting my block/kill combo in Assassin’s Creed II.
*coughs meekly* It’s an old game, but I’m broke so are if there are games that aren’t old then I wouldn’t know anything about that.
